I just couldn’t resist this dress. The gold on black rose pattern had me from across the shop, I looked up, saw it and just floated over there. I really like floral patterns done in unfloral colors. I took these photos as the sun was setting, so it was tricky to get a good shot of the lace back of this dress, but I promise a good close up next time! It would have helped if my hair wasn’t in the way too. Outfit shots at dusk are kind of tricky, but it gets dark so early that I realize I’m about to miss the light so I get up and shoot outside to catch it, but then I kind of miss it anyways. Whoops.
*While the poem is by Frost, the title of this post is from The Outsiders. If you haven’t seen it, you should.

The Outsiders was such an iconic film and worth seeing. Love the details on this dress. I'd have bought it too just for the black and gold combo.
