As a Manhattan dweller for almost three years now, I have to admit that I don’t venture to the outer boroughs often. But I’ve been wanting to walk over the Brooklyn Bridge for awhile, so when I had a visitor staying with me and a sunny day – it seemed like the fates had finally aligned. The bridge itself is beautiful, as were the skyline views and the Brooklyn Bridge Park on the other side. We had planned on getting pizza at Grimaldi’s (which is supposedly the best pizza in New York), but the line was out of control. All in all, it was a really fun day! I would definitely recommend the Brooklyn Bridge if you’re visiting NYC (or if you live here and have never been)!

I’ve always wanted to do that walk too – my dad did it several years when he was visiting us and can’t stop talking about it!

oh how i miss it. there is another really great pizza joint across from the ice cream place. the line at grimaldis is always ridiculous.
